This program is typically divided into four educational activities, with students rotating between stations. Activities can include, but are not limited to:
- Marching and drilling like a soldier
- Writing letters with a real ink pen
- Exploring the equipment of a Civil War soldier
- Firing a cannon
- Enjoying a stagecoach ride
