This program is typically divided into four educational activities, with students rotating between stations. Activities can include, but are not limited to:

  • Marching and drilling like a soldier
  • Writing letters with a real ink pen
  • Exploring the equipment of a Civil War soldier
  • Firing a cannon
  • Enjoying a stagecoach ride
